What drove the 22% rally
The earnings release addressed a key concern around Accenture: whether generative AI was already reducing demand for traditional consulting services.
Q4 showed 7% growth in Consulting, $22.17 billion in new bookings and positive FY2027 revenue guidance.
The results provided no evidence of an immediate contraction in Accenture's core consulting business, triggering the sharp repricing in ACN shares.
